Merchandise Preparation

* Tape/Pin tags to items. Place tape in the middle of tag, not over barcodes, otherwise they won't scan at check-out. Please do not over tape. We remove all tags at check-out.

* Use regular printer paper for your tags, please no thick or colored paper. They do not scan properly.

* Use green/blue painters tape on books and games. This is to ensure they do not rip. You can purchase this at the Dollar Tree for $1.00.

* All items must be clean and in good condition. If batteries are required then they must be included and working properly.

* Items that have extra parts must be put in a bag and taped or tied to the item. This is to ensure they do not get lost.

* Games/Puzzles must be complete (no missing pieces).

* Car Seats must be less than 3 years old and not be involved in any accidents.

* Cribs, Playpens, Playhouses, Climbers, etc must be assembled when dropped off or you must allow yourself enough time to assemble before leaving. If the outside toys are too big to assemble at the sale then you may have a picture of the item and it can remain disassembled.

* It is the responsibility of the consignor to ensure the items are safe. Please check items for possible recalls – www.cpsc.gov/index.html.

* Children’s bedding must be free from stains, rips, fading, etc.

* Mattresses must be free from stains and rips.

* Used underwear and hair accessories will not be accepted.

* Drop-down cribs will not be accepted.

* You must have a minimum of 30 items to consign.

* Everything must be priced over $1.00 and in increments of .50 such as $10.00, $10.50, $11.00.

NOTE: 200 Safety Pins and 30 Zip Ties can also be purchased at the Dollar Tree for $1.00 each.

Clothing/Shoes

* All clothing must be on hangers and facing to the left. If should look like "?".

* Please sort clothing according to sex and size. Use a rubber band to hold clothes together in this order.

* Clothing 0-3 months, 3-6 months, 6-9 months and 9 months will be limited per consignor to 10 pieces in each group. Smaller sizes are harder to sell so we ask you pick 10 of your favorite outfits in each size group.

* Clothes - Tags should be pinned with safety pins or put on with a tagging gun on the LEFT side of the garment over the heart, through a seam on the arm or on the label (if at the top). The tags must be visible from the left side of the clothing when they are hung up on the clothing racks.

* Pants can be pinned to the hanger.

* Clothing of all seasons is accepted but must be less than 5 years old. Clothes must be free from stains, rips, fading, missing buttons, etc.

* Shoes must be tied together with the laces, rubber-banded together or put in a ziploc bag. This is to ensure they stay together.

NOTE:

- Free hangers can be found at dry cleaners. Other suggestions  are FreeCycle, Yahoo Groups and Craigslist.

- As clothing of all seasons is accepted, clothing in season does sell better.

We will go through all clothing to check for stains, rips, etc. They will be noted for stains and pulled off the racks during set-up. We will put them aside and can be picked up with your items at sales end.
